Skyline

SOLO SHOW CHICAGO NOVEMBER 2012

There is an apparent line that separates Earth from Sky, when and where they meet becomes an intense story of change and renewal. The point of change is a dynamic demonstration of relationship. Renewal is the continuing regeneration of what can come next, not better or different, but an accumulation of what has passed and what is to come.

The one element that grants life to this story is time; it relentlessly moves forward change and renewal. If one takes away the distraction of buildings and trees, leaving just Earth and Sky, the simple but intense joining of these powerful forces takes hold of our attention. We climb mountains, go to the ocean’s edge or fly in an airplane to experience the emotion that comes from viewing the Skyline.
