A Decade of Seasons

A Decade of Seasons

A Decade Of Seasons

SOLO SHOW OF NEW WORK, SANTA FE SEPTEMBER 2013: Each season brings to me a new and unexpected change. From those who chronicle the past I understand what I need to endure what is coming. I find myself, in a decade of seasons, relating to those who tell stories of the good days in the past, to give me hope for the future. As man has done from ancient times, I hold onto memories of the good so that I may continue on.

Each painting I create is a small memory of the emotion connected to a season’s place and time that I do not want to forget; of those seasons that helped me endure, struggle, and most of the time, succeed. Each memory sparks in me the instinct to continue on. If I had not endured I would not be speaking of the past, for this is my story.

The Artist’s Reception was held on Friday September 20th, 2013. Click here to view images and click here to watch a video from the reception.
